Even royal kids try to get out of doing their homework!
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are currently settling back into life in the U.K., and it looks like their 7-year-old son, Prince Archie, is already giving them some hilarious parenting moments.
On Thursday, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex made a special visit to Nottingham to greet local schoolchildren. During a sweet conversation with the kids, Harry shared a very funny and relatable anecdote about Archie’s recent transition to his new British school.
In a video shared on Instagram, Harry is seen chatting with a young student who expressed a love for math. “You like math? I love that,” Harry warmly responded, before revealing that his own son is definitely not a fan of the subject.
Harry laughed as he recalled Archie asking him a very specific question before starting classes: “Can I go to a school that doesn’t do math?”
Like any typical dad, Harry had to give him the harsh reality check. “It doesn’t exist!” he told his son.
But the story gets even better! Harry revealed that when Archie finally arrived for his very first day at the new school, his very first class on the schedule was—you guessed it—math! Talk about a funny twist of fate.
This lighthearted school update is a much-needed breath of fresh air for the Sussex family. Just a few weeks ago, the protective parents made headlines when they abruptly pulled Archie and Lilibet out of their previous school due to terrifying security concerns. Thankfully, insiders say the kids have now adjusted perfectly to their new, safer environment.
It is so fun to see Harry sharing these normal, everyday dad moments with the public. Even a prince cannot negotiate his way out of math class!
