Christina Applegate Breaks Down Over Shocking MS Misdiagnosis!

Hollywood star Christina Applegate just shared a devastating and shocking health update that has left fans completely heartbroken.

After spending the last few years believing she was battling Multiple Sclerosis (MS), the 54-year-old actress recently learned that she was actually misdiagnosed. While most people would be thrilled to hear they do not have MS, Christina admitted that the news left her in tears and feeling completely lost.

During the latest episode of her MeSsy podcast, Christina emotionally revealed the moment her doctor delivered the shocking news. “She came into my room and said, ‘Congratulations, you don’t have MS,’” Christina recalled through tears. “I was, like, not happy at all. Everybody else was so happy.”

The Dead to Me star explained that despite the new diagnosis, her debilitating symptoms have not gone away. In fact, she feels like her condition has only gotten worse.

“You don’t get misdiagnosed and then all of the sudden I’m better,” she shared. “I haven’t gotten better… So I’m back at square one where I don’t know what’s going on with me.”

Christina’s doctors are now launching a full investigation to figure out what has actually been causing her severe health issues since 2021. The actress admitted that the misdiagnosis sent her into a “great depression,” as she had lost her job and her normal life over a disease she didn’t even have. She still relies on a wheelchair to get around.

Navigating a mysterious health crisis in the public eye is incredibly difficult. Just recently, fans were inspired when former Disney star Debby Ryan bravely opened up about her own secret health struggles and intense rehab journey. Now, fans are rallying behind Christina as she searches for answers.

“I’m still in this. Nothing magical happened when she said, ‘You don’t have MS,’” Christina heartbreakingly added.

We are sending so much love and strength to Christina Applegate as she continues her health journey.
