As the 30th anniversary of Princess Diana’s tragic death approaches, both brothers are reportedly planning their own special tributes to honor their late mother. However, insiders claim that Prince Harry is absolutely “furious” and feeling completely “outclassed” by his older brother’s secret plans.
According to RadarOnline, Prince William is exploring the possibility of officially restoring Diana’s “Her Royal Highness” (HRH) title. Diana famously lost the prestigious title after her messy divorce from King Charles in 1996. Rumor has it that a young William once promised his mother he would give it back to her when he became King.
If William manages to pull this off, it would be a massive, historic gesture—and that is exactly why Harry is reportedly raging.
“Harry can make a documentary, give interviews and celebrate Diana’s humanitarian legacy,” a royal insider explained. “But William is the heir to the throne and has a completely different kind of influence within the monarchy.”
From Harry’s perspective, restoring the HRH title is something permanent that goes down in the history books. He reportedly fears that any tribute he plans will look “secondary” compared to William’s ultimate power move.
