Travis Kelce just had the ultimate 37th birthday, and he is finally spilling all the sweet details!
During the latest episode of the New Heights podcast, the Kansas City Chiefs star opened up to his brother, Jason Kelce, about celebrating his very first birthday as a married man. And of course, it included some quality time with his superstar wife, Taylor Swift.
Travis confirmed that he spent his special day in New York City. Fans already went wild when the newlyweds were spotted stepping out for a romantic birthday dinner in sleek coordinated outfits earlier this week. Travis revealed that they dined at one of his absolute favorite spots, Torrisi, and simply “hung out with Tay.”
While there wasn’t a traditional birthday cake, the NFL star said the restaurant brought out an “entire arsenal” of delicious desserts, including shaved espresso icing with ice cream.
Travis kept quiet about what Taylor actually gifted him, telling his brother he would “love to just keep moving” when the topic of presents came up. However, he did reveal the absolute best gift he received this year: a massive football victory!
The day before his birthday, the Chiefs defeated the Las Vegas Raiders, bringing their season record to a perfect 4-0.
“The best news I got on my birthday was that we got a victory,” Travis admitted. “Losing ruins everyone’s life. If I would’ve lost, it would’ve ruined my birthday, for sure.”
Between a romantic NYC date night with Taylor and a huge NFL win, 37 is already looking like an incredible year for Travis!
